Kristen Enright — leadership and culture consultant

About Kristen

Two decades.
Three continents.
One repeating pattern.

There are thousands of leadership consultants. There are very few who have worked on Wall Street, supported US law enforcement and intelligence, defined cultures across Canada, built hospitality teams across the Pacific, and are now working at the intersection of American ambition and Kiwi collaboration.

I’m Kristen Enright — Founder of KE Consulting and Director of Culture & Learning for SGEi, one of the world’s leading culture and customer experience consultancies. Together, those two roles mean I bring both the personal depth of a trusted advisor and the rigour of world-class methodology to every room I walk into.

What I bring isn’t just experience — it’s perspective. I read rooms quickly, ask the questions others avoid, and get to the conversation that actually matters. I’ve done it in boardrooms, on stages, in workshops, and in one-on-one sessions with leaders who needed someone to tell them the truth. That’s the work. And it’s the same wherever I go — because the invisible defaults running the room are always the same. I’ve watched them operate for twenty years. I know what they look like before anyone names them.

Where the experience comes from.

Kristen Enright — leadership and culture advisor

The Foundation

Not theory. Experience.

My career didn't start in a classroom. It started in the United States, in some of the most high-stakes environments in the world — alongside the US Secret Service, the FBI, the CIA and the NYPD, and inside the boardrooms of Wall Street and Fortune 500s. When failure isn't an option, you learn fast what leadership actually looks like.

New York

Building bridges where none existed.

After 9/11, the financial district didn’t just need security — it needed something harder to build: trust between institutions that had never shared intelligence before. The Bankers & Brokers Roundtable brought together the Heads of Law Enforcement and Chief Security Officers from every major financial institution in New York City to do exactly that. After five years working alongside that group, the Roundtable awarded me their statue — making me the only non-law-enforcement professional ever to receive it. It sits in my office today, and it still means more to me than most things on that wall — along with the mentors and friendships I hold to this day.

Alongside that work, at 22 I was the youngest person and only woman on the Board of the US Secret Service Big Apple Classic — a role that put me in rooms most people twice my age never entered.

Canada

Fixing the talent problem from the inside.

From New York, the work took me to Canada, where I led an industry-leading line of business in the recruitment sector. My role wasn't just to place people — it was to train companies how to build the internal processes that actually attract and keep great talent.

Today

Global reach. Personal approach.

Over two decades, I’ve founded and led four companies, worked across more than ten industries, and built a reputation for telling the truth in a way people can actually act on. I’m based between Auckland and Hawke’s Bay, working with leaders across New Zealand, Australia, Canada, the UK and the USA. As Director of Culture & Learning for SGEi — working with global hospitality brands and Fortune 500 companies globally — I bring world-class methodology to every engagement.

I speak to shift thinking, not fill time — including at the upcoming HNZ26 Conference, Rotorua, June 2026.

The Philosophy

"Culture isn't a values poster on the wall. It's what happens when no one's watching — and it's built, or broken, by the leaders in the room."

Every organisation has a culture. The question is whether it's the one you intended, and whether it's helping you deliver on what you're here to do. Kristen's work starts with that question — and doesn't stop until the answer is yes.

The culture you have is a direct reflection of the leaders you’ve developed — or failed to.

What Clients Say

Kristen is proactive, detail oriented, and a consummate professional. She is very responsive and an absolute delight to work with. I recommend Kristen without reservation.

Diagnostics

If you can feel something slowing your team down but cannot quite name it, that is usually where the work begins.

Kristen’s diagnostic sessions give leaders a clear read on what is happening beneath the surface — and where to start.
